Instensive Outpatient
- Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) is generally 9 hours and under 25 hours weekly.
Intensive Outpatient Programs
This level of outpatient treatment usually includes 9 or more hours of services per week to support a person who is struggling with addiction and dual diagnoses. The organized outpatient services include a range of individual, group, and family therapy. Group-based psycho-education and therapy is provided during a three-hour period, three to five days a week. Because patients in our program return home after treatment sessions, they can more quickly begin the transition to everyday living situations and challenges.
*It can be recommended for clients to enter into local sober living homes while attending IOP groups, to work on early recovery and healing outside of their home environment. This can be beneficial for those with many responsibilities which may make it unlikely that they can focus solely on their treatment during this crucial early time in recovery.
