What we Treat
At Beachway New Jersey we treat a variety of presenting issues. Individuals with substance use disorders can experience supportive and individualized counseling at multiple levels of care. We offer treatment for co-occurring issues including depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, PTSD, problematic gambling, grief and loss, personality disorders, family dysfunction related to addiction issues, and more.
Our Approach
We specialize in providing trauma informed services, integrating this approach through all levels of care. Individualized trauma programs can include EMDR and narritative therapy. We pride ourselves on working with each client to reach goals on all issues related to their previous substance use, addiction issues, and consequences related to use. We know that it can be overwhelming in early recovery, or even a few years in when more issues begin to arise it can be necessary to continue working on new goals related to achieving sustainable and long term recovery. It is life changing to work through issues as they arise, instead of pushing them deep down. A wise person said “Things come up whether we deal with them or not, so we may as well deal with them.” Beachway New Jersey is a place where we embrace discomfort to achieve growth. We know that increasing coping skills and building resources to manage life’s challenges leads to healthier and more fulfilling lives.
Using specific treatment modalities to treat corresponding diagnoses is key to success.
